Varun Chakraborty keeps training sessions short
According to the Cricbuzz report, Varun Chakraborty trained with the KKR team on the eve of the match, but the session was very short and remained away from the media. It was also reported that he was limping on the ground.
Pathirana, on the other hand, is reported to have not trained with the team at all in any practice sessions. During KKR’s win over Gujarat Titans on 16 May, he left the field after bowling just 8 balls, despite it being his first match of the season.
