In the match, India surprisingly won the toss and decided to bowl first. Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah shared the new ball, but did not get any success and the score reached 38 runs in 4 overs.

Then, Suryakumar Yadav introduced Varun Chakravarthy with the hope of early success, and the mystery spinner repaid his captain’s faith.

On the very first ball of the over, Varun Chakraborty managed to uproot the stump of Reeza Hendricks by scoring 8 runs in 10 balls.

Chakraborty started the over with a googly length and Reeza Hendricks stayed behind in the crease to take it away. However, he was beaten due to the ball skidding and moving the stumps.
