Teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi and his amazing rise has been in the news for the past few months. But now, another member of the family has become the head. His younger brother Ashirwad Suryavanshi has impressed everyone by scoring a brilliant century in a local practice match in Bihar.
As Vaibhav prepares to make it to the international stage, 10-year-old Ashirwad has shown that cricket talent runs deep in the family. His fearless batting has already impressed everyone.

Ashirwad Suryavanshi was playing for Cricket Academy Tajpur in Samastipur when he scored a brilliant 103 runs off 87 balls. He played some beautiful shots around the ground and hit 20 fours and a six at an impressive strike rate of 118.39.
Soon after the century, proud elder brother Vaibhav Suryavanshi congratulated Ashirwad through a social media post and celebrated his special achievement. The left-handed batsman shared a collage of the scorecard and a picture of his younger brother on his Instagram story.
Vaibhav, who recently received support for doing some wonders for India, also highlighted the score and wrote, ‘Congratulations, blessings’ along with two red heart emojis.


Well, Vaibhav Suryavanshi finished as the highest run-scorer in IPL 2026 with 776 runs in 16 matches at a strike rate of over 230 and won the Orange Cap. His incredible performance earned him his maiden inclusion in the Indian squad for the upcoming Ireland and England tours as well as the Asian Games 2026. He is currently playing for India A in the one-day triangular series in Sri Lanka.
BCCI plans special support for Vaibhav Suryavanshi on UK tour
Recently BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia had revealed that the board has decided to make a special arrangement for Vaibhav during the UK tour. Recently, Vaibhav Suryavanshi expressed his hope of surpassing Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.
Keeping in mind his age, BCCI will allow his parents to travel with him so that he can have their support during his first trip away from home.
Hindustan Times quoted Saikia as saying, “We will request his parents. If they are willing to go, they can go. If his parents want to go to England, the BCCI will support him because he is a kid. So, he will need some time to socialize with the senior boys.”
“So, from that standpoint, we are helping. It’s not something we allow all parents to do. It’s not, but because he’s 15, he should feel comfortable, and he should take some time to adjust to the adult world.”
Sreesanth sent a strong message to Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Meanwhile, former India fast bowler S Sreesanth has advised Vaibhav to remain focused on his game and not get distracted by the people managing his career.
He also praised the young batting talent’s hard work, discipline and the strong support and sacrifice of his family behind his success and asked him to stay away from distractions and managers.
