Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s tough performance continued in India A’s crucial one-day tri-series match against Afghanistan A in Dambulla on Wednesday (June 17). The teenager looked to be in good form but once again failed to convert his starts into big innings on his first India A tour.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi got angry after Afghanistan bowler Faridoon Dawoodzai celebrated by placing a finger on his lips.
The teenage opener was dismissed by Afghanistan fast bowler Faridoon Dawoodzai in Dambulla. Dawoodzai sent a sharp short ball, and Suryavanshi tried to play a hook shot, but got the top edge, and Khalid Taniwal completed a brilliant catch at point.
After taking the big wicket, Dawoodzai celebrated by putting his finger on his lips, causing Vaibhav to stare at the Afghanistan bowler. At the same time, Vaibhav looked disappointed while returning to the pavilion after scoring 38 runs in 28 balls with the help of four fours and two sixes.
