The comedian also highlighted the recent remarkable performances of the Bihar opener. The youngster produced one of the greatest performances in youth cricket history at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026. He helped India win its sixth Under-19 World Cup title and won the Player of the Tournament award.

Under-19 World Cup Heroics

Vaibhav Suryavanshi finished as the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament with 439 runs in just seven innings at an impressive strike rate of 169.49. The final against England on 6 February became his biggest statement. He saved his best for the final against England Under-19.

The young sensation scored 175 runs in just 80 balls with the help of 15 fours and 15 sixes. This became the highest ever score in an ICC tournament final at any level.

During the comedy show, Pranit More also joked about Vaibhav’s increasing fame. He talked about his brand deals, especially his Complan ad. The comedian jokingly said that after seeing Vaibhav’s explosive hitting, many players might have started drinking nutrition powder.

“Complaint against Babar Azam?” Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s laughter went viral

Then came another punchline. More teased that Babar Azam may also need Complan to improve his strike rate. The crowd got angry. Vaibhav couldn’t stop laughing and the clip of that moment went viral on social media platforms.

There is pressure on Babar Azam regarding the strike rate in the shorter format of the game. Fans often make fun of his slow batting, calling him a “stat-padder” and “tuk-tuk” batsman for playing too many dot balls. The criticism intensified during the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026.

The former Pakistan captain has an overall T20I strike rate of 128.29, which is very low in the modern era. Once he even had to lose his place due to his slow batting.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi is ready for academic test from 17th February.

Meanwhile, Vaibhav will be appearing for exams at Podar International School and principal Neil Kishore confirmed that the 14-year-old will not receive any special treatment.

The principal said, “Cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be appearing for the Class 10 board exams in our school. He has received his admit card. Everyone is excited about his arrival, be it teachers, students or parents.”

However, we have made arrangements keeping this in mind, as he is still a student and will be appearing for his exams. This is an academic pitch, not a cricket pitch. We will ensure that students do not face any problem in taking the exam. All facilities, safety and security will be the same for all. The examinations will start from February 17.”
