The Bihar state government presented a check of Rs 50 lakh to Vaibhav Suryavanshi on Sunday, February 22. The 14-year-old batsman attended a felicitation program at the Chief Minister’s residence, where he received the prize money.

Vaibhav received the check in the presence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh.

According to media reports, on this occasion, Sports Department Secretary Mahendra Kumar, Bihar State Sports Authority Director General Ravindran Shankar and other senior officials, Bihar Cricket Association representative Rakesh Tiwari, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s father Sanjeev Suryavanshi, brothers Ujjwal and Ashirwad Suryavanshi and Abhijeet D’Souza were also present.
