Vaibhav Suryavanshi failed again against Pakistan; Ayush Mhatre out for zero in IND U19 vs PAK U19 match

Another failure from Indian star Vaibhav Suryavanshi in a high-octane encounter against Pakistan U19 as he got out inside the powerplay. Captain Ayush Mhatre further disappointed by getting out for a duck in two balls of the innings.

India Under-19 team is facing Pakistan Under-19 team in the Super 6 of the ongoing ICC Under-19 World Cup. While India expected a solid start from dynamic batsman Suryavanshi, he could not perform well on this occasion either.

India had lost to Pakistan in the Youth Asia Cup and even then Vaibhav Suryavanshi had failed to do wonders with the bat. Even on this occasion, he is on the verge of another collapse. Mohammed Syam remains a constant threat for the Indian rising star.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi out after good start; Ayush Mhatre walking with a duck behind

Pakistan started with their fast bowling pair and Mohammad Syam took the new ball along with Ali Raza. As Suryavanshi bowled in the power play, Syam returned to bowl the 8th over of the Indian batting innings.

He skidded a ball on the third ball of the over and as per his reputation, the Pakistanis dropped the catch. Then they had a chance to run him out, because there was complete chaos in the middle. Huzaifa had also missed the opportunity of catch and run out.

However, the drama ended on the very next ball, as Pakistan played a classic game. Syam misses this opportunity too, and Suryavanshi, who turns in the pull shot, gets a slight edge, but Hamza Zahoor catches him by diving to his right.

After this, Indian captain Ayush Mhatre came on the pitch and was out after facing 2 balls. India looked close to another collapse with two of their key heads in the dugout.
