He further said, “Ishan Kishan, born in Patna, scored the fastest ODI double century in terms of balls faced. Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Samastipur became the youngest player to make his IPL debut. And today the eyes of the whole world are on the brilliant bowling of Saqib Hussain, born in an ordinary family of Gopalganj. But one thing always troubles me: Why has our Bihar not yet achieved the recognition and recognition in cricket that we deserve?”

The billionaire businessman also pledged support to improve cricket facilities in the state, so that local players do not have to leave the state to chase their dreams. In 2022, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants joined the tournament, and now the Vedanta Group sent a strong message to the BCCI and IPL on its desire to see Bihar as part of the league in the future.
