While most of the discussion is going on about the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 starting tomorrow (7th February), Vaibhav Suryavanshi suddenly came into limelight after playing a strong inning of 175 runs in the final of the Under-19 World Cup against England at Harare Sports Club in Zimbabwe on 6th February.

On the biggest stage of Under-19 cricket, the Bihar-born player’s century is officially the biggest innings in the history of Under-19 cricket. The southpaw came in to open the innings and batted with his usual flair, toying with the opposition bowlers. Needless to say, Vaibhav also broke several all-time records while playing this innings, proving yet again why the opening batsman is considered a generational talent.

If we consider Youth ODI, Suryavanshi broke his own record when he sent the ball over the rope for the 15th time in today’s match, surpassing his own score of 14 against UAE Under-19 at ICCA Dubai in December.
