When asked about the discussion among Indian fans, Usman said (as quoted by the Indian Express), “I think, there will be additional pressure on them. Because the way they are discussing these things, I think, if they are just discussing in that sense, meaning, they are just objecting to that, then it shows that, perhaps, there will be additional pressure on them.”
“But, I don’t know about that. I am really focused on my game. I don’t know what’s going on in the media and other things. It’s a simple thing that I am just focusing on my cricket and practice.”

He said, “I think the records that we note, I think we should note them from the place where we started losing. If you look at it from the beginning, our record is good from the beginning. So we should count that too. Because those are also title matches.”
“And apart from that, the next match that is coming, obviously, we are all focused on one thing, that whatever game comes our way, whatever game we have to play, we have to give our best. And that way, we have to win this World Cup and make it memorable for everyone.”

Usman Tariq, who created a record last night as he has taken at least one wicket in 23 consecutive T20 innings, which is a record for a Pakistani bowler. He doesn’t feel any pressure and said, “So it’s a normal game for me, for the team. Because, when you’ve got that hype, or that kind of thing, in your mind, obviously, it’s better to keep it simple. And just stick to the plans, that’s all.”
