Batsmen may have legitimate problems regarding the bowling action of Usman Tariq, but Usman himself has made it clear that there is no problem with his bowling action, because the World Cricket Authority has given him permission to bowl like this.
Usman Tariq issued his latest comment on his bowling action after the dismissal of Tim David in the ongoing The Hundred League in the UK. David, who was caught behind the stumps by Usman, was not happy and asked the umpire to call the delivery a no ball.

Usman Tariq demands action from umpires and match referee
Like some batsmen, spinners also seem frustrated with the ever-increasing doubts over their bowling. When Tom Banton did a similar act to David while referring to a match against England in Dubai, Usman Tariq felt that the time has come that umpires and match referees should do something to stop such controversies.
“Maybe the umpires and the match referee need to do something. I remember England’s Tom Banton did the same in the International T20 League in Dubai and at that time, I made my views clear after getting him out,” said the spinner.
Highlighting the modern nature of T20 cricket where bowlers have little room to showcase their skills, the spinner claimed that he has worked hard on his bowling to be effective against the batsmen.
“This has to stop now. I work very hard on my bowling for variations because there is no mercy for spinners in T20 cricket these days. You have to concentrate all the time,” Usman said in the interview.
There are some other instances when the opposing batsmen pointed fingers against the bowler. Earlier this year, when Australia were against Pakistan for the T20I series, Cameron Green was not happy with Usman’s bowling action, which included pausing before bowling the ball.
Usman’s bowling action was under question on several occasions in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Despite all the doubts, till now the spinner has got permission to continue his bowling on every occasion.

Former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was among the rare cricket experts who stood in support of the Pakistan international. Ashwin had said on a previous occasion that Usman’s bowling style is not against the cricket rule book.
He also mentioned that it is difficult for the bowler to pause before releasing the ball. The former cricketer also said that the batsmen also have the right to question their actions.
