The southpaw gave him 25 runs in the first over of the game. The start of the Royals was explosive. Yashasvi Jaiswal could not score much runs and returned after scoring 10 runs.
Later, Suryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel put up a good partnership, and the former brought up his half-century in 15 balls and continued his striking at a pace of over 200. He scored his century in just 36 balls and put the Royals in the driver’s seat.
Vaibhav was out for 103 off 37 balls, then Donovan Ferreira played an impressive 33 off 16 balls and Shimron Hetmyer’s 11 runs were also crucial as RR scored 228/6 in their 20 overs.
Coming into the chase, Sunrisers once again lost the wicket of Travis Head early, as the southpaw continued to struggle and Jofra Archer took a wicket in the first over once again this season. After this, thanks to short, impressive innings of 29 and 36 runs from Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Reddy respectively, the Orange Army achieved the target of 229 runs with 9 balls to spare. Orange Army performs double over Royals in IPL.
