Updated Standings, Orange Cap, Purple Cap after RR vs LSG Match 64

Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 match no. 64 runs were scored between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Royals did a double take on Rishabh Pant’s team and kept their playoff hopes alive with a 7-wicket win.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the stand-in captain for the Royals, as their regular captain Riyan Parag could not feature in the game due to a hamstring injury. The Men in Pink made three changes with the addition of Luan-Dre-Pretorius, Sushant Mishra and Sandeep Sharma. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant included Mohsin Khan in place of Mohammed Shami and Ayush Badoni in place of Aiden Markram.

Coming to bat first, the flamboyant opening pair of Josh Inglis and Mitchell Marsh became aggressive from the very first over. The duo continued firing from both ends and scored 83/0 inside the power play. He made another 100-run partnership with Inglis, scoring a half-century in 23 balls, but the first man of the 109-run partnership was out for 60.

Marsh and Nicholas Pooran continued the flow of runs; The former player completed his half-century in 25 balls. Puran, who was looking in good form, could not convert his start into a big score and returned to the pavilion after scoring 16 runs. After this, the Australian captain and the LSG captain made a partnership of 64 runs and LSG made a comeback in the last over.

Pant scored 35 runs and Marsh, who was batting on 90 runs in the last over, once again failed to score his century and was run out on the score of 96 runs. LSG finished with a score of 220/5 in their 20 overs.

Chasing the target, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave a great start. The stand-in captain was aggressive as the duo stitched a 71-run partnership in the power play, but the latter was out soon after for 43. Then Suryavanshi took charge and scored a half-century in just 23 balls.

The southpaw and Jurel stitched a century partnership and took the game away from the Super Giants, but Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s brilliant innings ended on 93 and he missed a century in the match, with Mohsin Khan taking the wicket. Dhruv Jurel scored a brilliant half-century in 37 balls and led his team to victory.
