Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, match number 58, was between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at HPCA Stadium, Dharamshala. It was a reverse fixture. MI took their revenge on PBKS and won the game by 6 wickets. PBKS lost its fifth consecutive match.

After being asked to bat first, Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh got off to a good start; The latter got a lease of life when Naman Dheer dropped the catch in the second over. Both of them once again made a partnership of 50 runs and Deepak Chahar dismissed them at the score of 22 runs.

From then on, Prabhsimran and Cooper Connolly formed a partnership and completed their half-centuries in 29 balls. But he was out on the score of 57 and his wicket led to a small collapse for the home team. They lost three wickets of Shreyas Iyer, Connolly and Prabsimran in the space of four runs.
Kings kept losing wickets, Shashank Singh was once again out on a low score and Suryansh Shedge did not have the best performance scoring 8 runs. Marco Jansen was out for just two runs and then Azmat played a solid inning of 38 runs in 17 balls.

While chasing, Ryan Rickelton came into the chase with full force in the second innings. He was aggressive as Rohit Sharma struggled to score runs and even take singles.
