The UAE has named its 17-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, in which Muhammad Wasim has set towards the captain towards the side. The Asia Cup is set to be taken to Hong Kong at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in Hong Kong in Afghanistan on September 9 at UAE.,
The UAE team has two fresh faces in fast bowler Matillah Khan and left-arm spinner Simranjit Singh, which are not part of the ongoing T20I Tri-series against Pakistan and Afghanistan., The rest of the team is the one who is hosting the ongoing T20i Tri-Series,
UAE Name 17-Asia Cup 2025 for Sightsee Squad 2025
Matillah Khan has so far played an ODI and five T20I for UAE, while Simranjeet has played five ODIs and 11 T20Is till date. He last played an international game at the Gulf T20I Championship last December. Both Asia Cups will be eager to make a mark in 2025.

The UAE is placed in Group A along with India, Pakistan and Oman. On the other hand, Group B consists of Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Hong Kong. In the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, the United Arab Emirates campaign will begin on September 10 against the rescue champion India in Dubai.
They are yet to defeat India and Pakistan, but have enjoyed success against Oman in recent years, and now they expect to produce better performance in the upcoming continental tournament on the soil of the house. The Asia Cup marks the first appearance of the UAE since 2016.
