Twitter reacts to Karun Nair out of the Indian team

Karun Nair in the XI in India’s play was the topic of a debate led by the fourth Test of the five -match series against England in Manchester. However, the team management has lost confidence in the Karnataka batsman, as he has been left for an important match starting today (23 July).

Karun Nair returned to the Indian Test team after eight years after an impressive run in domestic cricket. However, 33 -year -old, failed to impact their return, going without a fifty in the first three tests. He was unable to capitalize on his debut and convert him into a big score.

Karun Nair has been removed from playing India’s XI for the fourth Test against England in Manchester. He impressed in the lead-up with a knock of 204 runs against England Lions in an exercise game and scored 259 runs in three innings for India, but failed to distribute in the main series.

The 33 -year -old returned to the Test setup after eight years, but scored only 131 runs in six innings under 22. He recorded a score of 0 and 20 in Hadingley, 31 and 26 and 40 and 14 in Birmingham at Lord’s.

It is worth noting that the right -handed batsman launched a batting series at number 6 before being promoted at number 3 for second and third tests, but failed to register a single of half a century.

Sai Reformson, depicted in the initial Test in Leeds (Scoring 0 and 30), has changed Nair for the Manchester Test after recalling the last two matches.

India Trail 1-2 in five-match Test series against England

In the five-match Test series against England, India Trail 1-2 is one of the reasons for Karun Nair’s poor form. India failed to protect the target of 371 runs and lost five wickets in the series opener in the leads. He bounced back to Edgbaston, winning 336 runs to level the series.

However, India decreased during its pursuit of 193 on the last day of the third Test at Lord’s, lost the match by 22 runs. Visitors now need to win the fourth test in Manchester to keep the series alive.

India has not won a Test series in England since 2007, when Rahul Dravid was the captain. They came close in 2021, but the final test was re -determined due to Covid -19, and India eventually lost the match, depicting the series 2–2.
