Team India Batter Karun Nair once again struggled to score big during the second innings of the second Test against England in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The right -handed batsman failed to convert a civilized start into a half -century during the first session on the fourth day (Saturday, July 5).

India made a hold in the second Test against England in Edgbaston on 3 days, 4 July. After a significant 180-run first innings lead on July 4, visitors ended the day at 64/1 in their second innings.
Mohammad Siraj rejected Joe Root and Ben Stokes in the same over to reduce the hosts by 84/5. However, Harry Brook and Jamie Smith added a 303 -run stand for the sixth wicket. Brooke scored 158 runs in 234 balls including 17 fours and a six, while Smith remained unbeaten on 184.
Akash Deep broke the partnership by rejecting Brook with the second new ball. Siraj then fled through the tail, finishing with 6/70 figures, while the sky ended with deep 4/88. England lost their last five wickets for just 20 runs and were dropped for 407. India held 13 overs talks before the stumps.
