England dominate with bat
After losing the fourth consecutive toss, India was invited to bat first in the match. KL Rahul (46) and Yashsvi Jaiswal (58) rejected the danger of the new ball very well to lay a platform for a big score.
Captain Shubman Gill (12) did not score a big score, but Sai Reformson (61) hit a brilliant fifty, and wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant scored 54 runs despite a fracture leg.
Lower-order scored 358 runs in India with a decent contribution with Shardul Thakur (41), Washington Sundar (27), and Ravindra Jadeja (20).
Then, with the ball, India had a nightmare. Even in the presence of Jasprit Bumrah, India was taken to the cleaner by the English batsmen and made to look clules.
England posted a big score of 669 on the board and took a lead of 311 runs for outstanding batting performances from Joe Root (150), Ben Stokes (141), Ben Docket (94), and Zak Croly (84).
Ravindra Jadeja (4), Jasprit Bumrah (2), Washington Sundar (2), Anusul Kamboj (1), and Mohammad Sirraj (1) were among the wickets for India.
Jadeja, Gill, Beautiful, and Rahul helped India to make matches
In the third innings of the fourth match, India made a terrible start, as Chris Woakes removed both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sai Sudarshan on a score of 0.
It seemed that the match would end at day 4, but Shubman Gill and KL Rahul did not allow this to happen. In-form India batsmen showed their classes and directed India up to 174/2 at the end of the day.
On the last -day plays, Rahul and Gill continued their batting and took India in a strong position. Although Rahul was out for 90, Gill completed his century.
After dismissing the two, all -rounders Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja joined the army and displayed an incredible performance.
Sundar and Jadeja hit the brilliant centuries after being rejected by Ben Stokes, and India eventually ended with 425/4 as the match ended into the draw.
Here is how X reacted to India to the Manchester Test:
Very good fight to get a draw. Especially after retreating from 311 runs and 0/2 after the first over. And disappointed in this process England, funnyly.
The play resumes again in three days. #ENGVSIND

The Great Indian Escape: Avid with 5 sessions behind 0-2 and more than 300 runs, a batsman was injured, then to come up with a draw where England thrown into a towel, a bus wow effort. Now we also have a test series in the Oval: India was played brilliantly, @Imjadeja @Sundarwashi5,

Well done lad! If you still have any doubt about Washington Sundar, put it in bin. A player for all forms.

Great batting from India to save this test from 0-2. We know how good Jadeja is, but Washington Beautiful is just struggling with a great, struggling cricketer, designed for such challenges. Everyone set a complete set for oval, where – after 20 days – both teams will be *Nached *

It should feel like a win for India. They fought against all obstacles. Jadeja and Washington were also entitled to hundreds of those. #ENGVSIND

Honestly, the hand should not have been shook even after centuries. These entitled Prik Bowl should be made till the last ball of the day. pic.twitter.com/fwefvrhfgr
