Twitter reacted as India’s Anahilat Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final

Fans appreciated Tilak Verma for their brilliant innings in the final of the Asia Cup, tagged their heroes as ‘Operation Tilak’ after ‘Operation Sindore’, claiming another performance of India’s dominance over Pakistan.

India defeated Pakistan thrice in this edition of the Asia Cup. In the first group -phase games, then in super -4 stages, and now finally in the final of the competition. This is Gautam Gambhir’s second win after the ICC Champions Trophy title in 2025.

Tilak Verma dominates the unbeaten half century in the Asia Cup final

While most matches have dominated India due to the brilliant innings played by opener Abhishek Sharma, Pakistan was happy with his early dismissal. After rejecting the Indian top order within the powerplay, green men were in one stage, which had an upper hand on their rivals.

However, India proved that they are the world champions in the shortest format of the game. Tilak Verma’s brilliant innings of 69* from 53 balls and six out of six in Haris Rauf in the final of the game helped India steal the show.

While Sanju Samson contributed significantly to a healthy partnership in the mid -stage, it was Shivam Dubey who helped score some quick runs at the back end. The winning run landed on Rinku Singh’s bat, who faced only one delivery in the entire Asia Cup 2025.
