Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will host Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 18th match of the ongoing Tata Indian Premier League 2026 (Tata IPL 2026) on Saturday, April 11. This CSK vs DC match will be held at the prestigious MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, which will start at 7:30 PM IST.
CSK surprised everyone with their confused tactics, lack of consistency and weak bowling attack as they are yet to open their account in the ongoing IPL 2026. The five-time champions are currently at the bottom with a negative net run rate.

Delhi Capitals suffered a heartbreaking one-run defeat against Gujarat Titans in their previous IPL 2026 encounter as David Miller denied strike to Kuldeep Yadav and was then run out in dramatic fashion at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. This was DC’s first defeat of the season.
Now, the Capitals are looking for a strong comeback, and this is a great opportunity for them to face the struggling Chennai Super Kings. They have lost all three matches so far. The absence of big players like MS Dhoni and Dewald Brewis has made things worse for them, as Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad have not been able to make an impact with the bat so far.
However, CSK have got a big boost now that Brevis has returned to strengthen their batting, but overall, the team still looks shaky and weak, especially their bowling attack.
