“So, Timmy (Tim David), you and Salty are best friends. How did that friendship come about?” Mr. Nags asked David. The Australian star responded, “We have a sense of humor. You know, we love spending time together. It can be a long time away from home.”

Phil Salt injury update

David said of Salt’s injury, “Yeah, well, last week he was video calling me a lot. But now, we’re texting more, so I think his finger is getting better.”

According to the latest media reports, Phil Salt has recovered from the finger injury on his left hand that he suffered while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on April 18. He flew back to the UK for detailed scans.

After all the medical procedures, the batsman returned to India and joined Royal Challengers Bangalore again ahead of the play-offs. RCB continues to top the IPL 2026 points table despite losing their final group match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. RCB’s next match will be against Gujarat Titans on May 26 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala.
