Rohit Sharma is known for his aggressive batting, but his image outside the field is completely different. Rohit Sharma is a fun-loving and completely forgettable person whom everyone loves to talk about. His habit of forgetting things is quite famous in the cricket world.
Teammates – both India and Mumbai Indians – often tease the Hitman as he keeps losing important items like his wallet, iPad and sometimes his passport. Even Virat Kohli had joked that Rohit forgets more things than he has seen.

Rohit Sharma’s famous habit
The funniest moment came when Rohit went for the toss and suddenly he could not remember what he had decided. Recently a similar situation happened again during an IPL match. Sometimes he forgets his passport and looks confused while counting his bags.
Even Rohit’s teammates have reported that there were times when they had to wait for the bus as Rohit went back to his hotel room to collect something left behind. And now, his Mumbai Indians teammate made fun of Rohit’s habit of forgetting at an event amid the ongoing IPL 2026.
Tilak Verma told how Rohit Sharma forgets his mobile phone.
Sharing an example at the event, Tilka shared: “So, in the morning, Rohit bhai has reached Delhi with his family. So, I am calling Rohit bhai. He is not picking up the phone. So, I reached there. And then I said, “I am calling you,” and he said, “Hey man, I have forgotten my phone at home.”

To this Rohit said, “I agree. I admit that I forget. What’s the point? Everyone forgets. But the important things, whenever I need them, I remember them. Never forget.”
