The star batsman said, “My mindset has always been to learn. Every match I played, I tried to understand what I can do better for the team as a player and as a captain. This is not something I have just started thinking about. I was already preparing myself and when the opportunity came, I was ready for it. Going forward, I want to continue on the same path.”

I often ask him about his mindset, how he handles pressure, and how he thinks during difficult situations. The little things I learn from him and the guidance he gives are very valuable.
