Former England cricketer Stuart Broad has expressed concern over the ICC approval on Team India’s Pacer Mohammad Sirj for his aggressive festival during the third Test. Broad said that while Siraj was fined 15% of his match fee for the Act, no action was taken against Indian captain Shubman Gill.
Siraj, who has taken four wickets at Lord’s, was punished for dissolving Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct. It is “related to using language, functions or gestures that are inequality or who can provoke an aggressive response from a batsman on his dismissal during an international match.”

Stuart Broad criticized the International Cricket Council for a fine on the celebration of Mohammad Sirj. Broad said that Shubman Gill, who was caught taking oath on live television, did not get any result. He called for fairness and stability in the application of rules.
