England Batter Joe Root made his own version of a “perfect batter” by combining the qualities of players in international cricket. The 34 -year -old batsman, while making his pics, ignored legends such as Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Alastair Cook, and the video attracted the attention of fans on social media.
Former England captains have been excellent in tests. Root is designed to be a decisive person in the Ashes, which begins on 21 November in Perth, as the team expects to secure their first Test series win in Australia. The right -handed batsman was last played for England in a house ODI against South Africa.

In a video shared by England’s Burmese Army Instagram handle, Joe Root chose former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson for his technology. He chose Australian veteran Steve Smith for his shot selection and supported Indian star Virat Kohli for his nature.
Root chose former West Indies opener Chris Gayle for his power. Asked about walking between the wickets, the middle-order batsman stopped for some time before naming Johnny Bairstow from his early days. Root concluded with the legendary South African batsman AB de Villiers for the entertainment factor.

Joe Root and Fab Four’s legacy
Joe Root has shared the modern platform with some of the biggest batsmen of cricket. Over the years, he has played with Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson and Steve Smith, a group that fans and experts have equally celebrated as “Fab Four”. The tag was coined for their run-scoring capacity in all formats.
However, the era is gradually entering an infection phase. Virat ended his T20I career after winning the country to win the 2024 T20 World Cup. He later retired from Test cricket in May 2025. Smith also announced his retirement from Odis after the 2025 Champions Trophy.

Joe is close to Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the most runs in root Test cricket. England Batter has scored an average of 13,543 runs at 51.29, including 39 centuries and 66 half -centuries. He is just 2,379 runs less than crossing Indian legend.
Since 2021, he has scored 5,720 runs in 61 Test matches at an impressive average of 56.63, including 22 centuries and 17 half -centuries, coming against Pakistan in Multan on 262 October 2024, the best of his career. At home, he has scored 2,981 runs in 31 Tests, 13 with breath and nine fifts.
Away from home, Root has scored 2,739 runs in around 30 tests of 50 on an average. However, his record in Australia is less impressive. He has scored 892 runs in average 14 tests of 35.68 and is yet to be registered in a century, with his highest score of 89.
