“Not ideal,” Rahul said in media briefing. “Earlier there was a conversation in a few overs: I told him [Pant] I will find my hundred, if possible, before lunch. ,
He said, “With Bashir bowling, which was at the previous time before lunch, I felt that I have a good chance to get it, but, yes, unfortunately, I hit the fielder directly,” he said.

KL Rahul said that Rishabh Pant had a significant turn in the run-out match. Rahul said that the dismissal was unfortunate and both players were disappointed, saying that no batsman ever wants to lose his wicket in this way.
“It was a ball that I could hit for a border. Then he just wanted me to rotate the strike and see if he could put me back on strike. But, yes, it should not have happened: that stage a run out really changed the pace,” Rahul continued.
