22 -year -old batsman Vikramjit Singh has made a comeback in the T20I team for the series against Bangladesh National Cricket Team.

His last T20I appearance came against Nepal in Glasgow on June 19, 2025, and he missed the team for the ICC Mains T20 World Cup qualifier at home.

Leg-spinner Sharj Ahmed and left-handed pacer Ben Fletcher have also returned their T20 Eye. The return of these players has become possible due to the absence of many big names.

Bass de Lead, Michael Levit, Zach Lion-Cathet, Hid Overdic, and Rolloff van Der Merve have all been dropped from the squad for the upcoming T20I matches.

The Dutch will mostly be influenced by the absence of Bass de Leids and Rolloff van Der Merve, as they have been the top artists for a very long side.

The Scott Edwards will continue to lead the side, and the Netherlands will look at the most knowledge of the situations with them, as some players played the last version of the Bangladesh Premier League. In addition, Dutch’s head coach Ryan Cook was earlier as his fielding coach with Bangladesh.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz T20i withdrawn from series vs Netherlands

The Bangladesh National Cricket Team has suffered a major setback as their star all -rounder Mehidi Hasan Miraj has taken out the T20I matches against the Netherlands for personal reasons.

He was allowed to leave the matches from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and as per the report, will be on leave for 15 days to stay with his wife.

“Mehidi took a holiday to live with his wife from August 20 to September 4, as she is not keeping a well. As a result, she is not traveling to Silhet for the skill camp ahead of the series against the Netherlands,” a BCB official told Cricbuzz.

Meanwhile, the all-rounder is expected to be available from September 5 and most likely the Asia Cup will be part of the Bangladesh squad for 2025.
