The Dutch cricket team has announced a significant adjustment for its T20I squad for the upcoming three -match series against Bangladesh. The last minute replacement has been done on August 30 as injuries and an unavailability of the player a few days before the opener of the series.
Major changes in the Netherlands T20i squad amid injuries
The Netherlands faced a late challenge with Ryan Klein and Fred Classen The injuries were sidelined. By adding to the adjustment, Sacib Zulfikar has withdrawn from the squad for personal reasons. These changes require Swift action to ensure that the team is at full force for its first bilateral T20I series in Bangladesh.

The Netherlands are set to play three T20I in Sylhet on 30 August, 1 September and 3 September. The tour is an important milestone as it will be the first bilateral series between the two countries in Bangladesh.

For the Netherlands, this 2026 ICC serves as a significant preparation before men’s T20 World Cup, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, Bangladesh will use these matches to finalize its initial XI for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
