The International Cricket Council announced the candidates for the ICC Player of the Month Awards for September 2025 on Tuesday, October 7, on 7 October, and the list has been packed with thrilling artists.

Young Indian opener Abhishek Sharma was invincible during the Asia Cup 2025, where he scored 314 runs in seven T20s at the shocking strike rate of 200 with the help of three fifties. The aggressive batting of the left -handed batsman at the top of the order helped India protect the title.

Abhishek Sharma was designed as a tournament player for his efforts in the Asia Cup 2025, and he achieved the most batting ratings in men’s T20I history with an incredible 931 points to establish himself as one of the most bright talent in world cricket.

The second nominee for the ICC Player of the Month is another Indian, and he is a left -arm spin Ace Kuldeep Yadav. The wrist-spinner claimed 17 wickets in the 6.27 economy and finished the Asia Cup 2025 as a leading wicket-taker in the UAE.

Kuldeep’s amazing figures against UAE and 4/30, who won a match in the final against Pakistan, raced him for the award.

Brian Bennett’s explosive form Powerrs Zimbabwe from ICC T20 World Cup 2025

And the last nominated person is Zimbabwe’s opener Brian Bennett, who made his mark in September with his sensational performance in T20I. Bennett scored 497 runs in nine matches of 55.22 and a strike rate of 165.66. His explosive form against Sri Lanka and Namibia continued.

Bennett took the speed of the ICC men’s T20 World Cup Africa in the Africa regional final, where he hit 72, 65 and 111 in his first three innings. Bennett’s consistency and clean hitting in Zimbabwe were important in gaining qualifications for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

Smriti Mandhana, Sidra AMIN and Tazmin Brits for September 2025 for women player

Meanwhile, Indian opener Smriti Madhana, Pakistan’s Sidara Amin, and Tazmin Brits of South Africa have been nominated with her incredible performance at the White-Ball Games for the ICC Player of the Month Award for September 2025.

Smriti Madhana held an impressive ODI series against Australia women at home, with a strike rate of 308 runs and 135.68 in four matches on an average of 77. His innings included scores of 58, 117 and 125 against Australia. After losing in the first ODI ground, Mandana’s century in the second ODI defeated India in format for the first time since 2007.

The recession followed it with a 50 -ball century in the decider of the third and final ODI series, which India lost to the Australian side. However, it was the fastest by an Indian woman and the second fastest in the ODI history of women.

Sidara Amin and Tazmin Brites nominated for their performance in the Pakistan-South Africa series

Pakistan’s Sidara Amin was also sensational in the ODI series against South Africa, scoring 293 runs in three matches at an extraordinary average of 293. He scored 121 and 122 runs in the first two matches. In the final match, Sidara’s unbeaten 50 directed Pakistan to a major victory over the proteus.

The third and last nominated person is South African batsman Tazmin Brits. She was affected by 272 runs in two innings at a strike rate of 103.81. Brites’ back-to-back unbeaten centuries 101 and 171 played an important role in South Africa’s 2–1 ODI series win over Pakistan.
