The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the global winners of the ICC Development Awards 2024, recognizing efforts to grow cricket worldwide. This year’s ICC Development Awards included a new category- ICC X Rexona CRIIIO Festival of the Year.
A total of seven prizes were given to affiliate members for their outstanding work in promoting sports around the world. The top winners of the ICC Development Awards 2024 are Bhutan, Indonesia, Namibia, Nepal, Scotland, Tanzania, USA and Vanuatu.
In particular, the Development Awards were initiated in 2002 to celebrate the innovation and initiative of the Associate members of the Games, “led to the development of sports around the world.”

ICC Development Award 2025 Categories:
ICC Development Initiative of the Year –
The award goes to an associate member who performed an excellent cricket development program during the year. This can be a program where people participated in a person or a digitally run.
ICC Development Initiative of Year Winner – Cricket Namibia
The African country won the award for its Ashburton Quata Mini-Cricket program. This program plays an important role in increasing the game in Namibia. It is now part of physical education classes in public schools, helps thousands of students in 14 fields to learn and enjoy cricket.
ICC Women’s Cricket Year Initiative-
The award celebrates the best efforts by an associate member to develop women’s cricket, through on-ground programs or online activities during the year.
ICC Women’s Cricket Initiative Year Winner – Bhutan Cricket Council Board and Vanuatu Cricket Association
For the first time, two winners were given the ICC Women’s Cricket Initiative of the Year. The Bhutan Cricket Council Board has been recognized for its inter-school girls competition, designed to increase girls’ participation in cricket.
On the other hand, Vanuatu Cricket Association has been honored for its “picking wicket” program, which offers remote and in-in-person coaching.

ICC Associate Member Men’s Team Year Performance –
The award goes for the best on-field performance by an associate member in an ICC tournament or a male team in a bilateral series during the year.
ICC Associate Member Performance Year VineR – USA Cricket
The USA won the award for its impressive performance in the ICC Mains T20 World Cup 2024. Last year, he shook Pakistan and built it in the super eight phase of the ICC event.
ICC Associate member women’s team performance year performance-
The award goes for the best on-field performance by an associate member or a women’s team in an ICC event during the year.
ICC Associate Member Women Performance Year Winner – Cricket Scotland
Scotland won the award for its impressive performance in 2024. She made history by qualifying for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for the first time after a strong performance in the qualifier.
ICC Digital Fan Engagement of the Year –
The award recognizes the creative use of an associate member of digital platforms, campaigns or technology to join fans and develop the cricket community during the year.
ICC Digital Fan Engagement of the Year Winner – Nepal’s Cricket Association
ICC Cricket 4 -year good social influence initiative –
The award respects a project that used cricket to bring positive changes in areas such as health, education or community support.
Cricket 4 Good Social Impact Initiative of the Year Winner – Persetuan Cricket Indonesia
Persatuan Cricket Indonesia won the award for its “Cricket for Confidence” movement.
ICC CRIO Cricket Festival of the Year with Rexona –
The award accepts the festival by an ICC Associate Member that promoted women’s cricket, increased participation, and created a permanent impact through the ICC Cryo Cricket Festival Pilot Program 2024.
