I think it will serve LSG really well – Sanjay Bangar on Mohammed Shami’s inclusion in LSG

In a video shared by ESPN Cricinfo on his X handle, former India national cricket team batting coach Sanjay Bangar was asked to share his views on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) acquiring the services of Mohammed Shami.

Bangar said that the inclusion of Mohammed Shami in the line-up will work well for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as the pitches at the Ekana Stadium will suit the fast bowler and he will be keen to perform well for the franchise. He said:

“I think it’s going to serve LSG really well because the pitches there offer a lot of lateral pace and Shami’s style of bowling, being a local boy and not being part of the scheme of things at present will definitely motivate him and this trade could benefit LSG in my opinion.”

After all the retentions and releases, Lucknow Super Giants have a purse of Rs 22.95 crore for the auction, and they have four overseas slots open in the team along with two Indian slots.
