Well, this comment of Vaughan did not go down well with the Indian fans and now they are trolling the Englishman by reminding him of England’s performance in Australia. Social media users were quick to remind him that England have not been strong in Australia for over a decade.
England’s last Test win on Australian soil was in January 2011, when they achieved a memorable 3–1 series win.
Since then, England have not won a single game in 13 matches. Their most recent tour in the 2021/22 season ended in a heavy 4-0 defeat, which ultimately led to Joe Root stepping down as England Test captain.

Despite this, Vaughan trolled the Australian team for the upcoming Ashes 2025-26 series. There is only one player under 30 in the team and that is Cameron Green, while the rest of the players are above 30 and most of them are 35-36 years old.
