Dream 11 has allegedly withdrawn as a major jersey sponsor for the Indian cricket team a few weeks before the Asia Cup 2025 in the UAE. The Indian cricket team led by Suryakumar Yadav can play on Jersey without a sponsor logo, as the BCCI is expected to invite new dialects to fill the sponsorship slot.
Online gaming bill, promotion and regulation of 2025 were passed in the Indian Parliament on Thursday. In particular, the new law banns real-online gaming platforms, including fantasy games, poker and betting sites. Promoters may be imprisoned up to three years and a fine of up to ₹ 1 crore.
Dream11 Asia Cup is unlikely to continue as the lead sponsor of Team India for 2025
Fantasy sports platform Dream 11 has allegedly designed to end its sponsorship agreement with the Control Board for Cricket in India. The company and the board have not issued an official statement, and the partnership cannot continue.

According to a report by NDTV, Dream11 is not eager to pursue the deal and is not very likely to appear as Team India’s leading sponsor in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
Earlier on Friday, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said that the board will follow all laws. He said that the BCCI would avoid imperfect activities and fully follow the policies set by the central government.
“If this is not acceptable, we will not do anything. BCCI will follow every policy of the country prepared by the central government,” Saikia said.
To invite fresh dialects for jersey sponsorship after exiting BCCI Dream 11
The NDTV report further states that after the exit of BCCI Dream11, Team is planning to invite new dialects for Jersey sponsorship of India. If a replacement sponsor is not finalized before the Asia Cup starting on 9 September in the UAE, the team can compete without the lead sponsor.
It is worth noting that jerseys with Dream 11 people have already been printed, but they will not be used during the tournament. Dream11 signed a ₹ 358 crore agreement deal with BCCI in 2023, which was ₹ 3 crore per house game and ₹ 1 crore per match.
The online gaming bill, banning real-mani platforms in India, directly affects the business model of Dream 11, leading to an early end of a three-year contract with BCCI. In particular, the Asia Cup 2025 will be the final scheduled for September 28 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

In an interview with News18, Union Minister Mansukh Mandavia talked about the new sports bill and a stand on cricket relations with Pakistan. He said that there will be no bilateral matches with Pakistan, but India should compete against them in the international tournament as per global commitments.
Mandavia further stated that India’s athletes would always compete to ensure a rival win without resistance.
“We are not playing bilateral cricket with Pakistan. In the multilateral tournament, we have to follow the bond – no country can deny a visa to other nations athletes.”
