Narayan Jagadeesan scored a century in 47 balls against America
The evening’s extraordinary performance came N JagadeesanWho scored a brilliant 104 runs in just 55 balls. The wicketkeeper-batsman completed his century in just 47 balls, laying the foundation for India A’s impressive batting performance. Jagadeesan’s innings was a mix of clean striking and intelligent placement, consisting of 11 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate close to 190.
Jagadeesan soon took control of the innings after the early fall of Priyansh Arya’s wicket. His ability to accelerate without undue risk left the United States bowlers struggling for answers on a batting-friendly surface.
Tilak Verma made a comeback with a fluent innings
Returning after injury, Tilak Verma looked in good form during his innings of 38 runs in 24 balls. Batting at No. 3, the left-handed batsman played with confidence and intent, scoring over 158 and rotating the strike effectively. His partnership with Jagadeesan was crucial in taking India A past 150 runs by the 14th over.

The United States bowlers struggled to contain the attack, with most conceding more than 10 runs per over despite rotating their options throughout the innings.

The United States’ spirited pursuit failed
Chasing a tough target of 239, the United States showed intent early but were always playing catch-up. Andreas Goss top-scored with 44 runs, while Sanjay Krishnamurthy kept the target alive for some time by adding 41 runs in just 18 balls.
