The final of the T20 World Cup 2026 between India and New Zealand is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 8 at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. As the excitement for the title match increases, the ICC has also confirmed the match officials for this big match.
ICC announces match officials for India vs New Zealand final
Experienced England umpires Richard Illingworth and Alex Wharfe will be in charge on the field during the India vs New Zealand final. Allahuddin Palekar of South Africa has been given the responsibility of third umpire for the T20 World Cup 2026 final.

Another South African umpire, Adrian Holdstock, will take over as the fourth umpire for the title match. Meanwhile, experienced official Andy Pycroft will monitor the game as match referee.
