ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 It is scheduled to begin on 7 February and run till 8 March, with a total of twenty elite teams competing in the T20I format. This tenth edition marks the largest expansion in the tournament’s history and is co-hosted by India And Sri Lanka At eight prestigious places. Reigning champion India will start the tournament against it on home soil usa At the historic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The tournament is divided into four groups:
- Group A This includes India, Pakistan, America, Netherlands and Namibia.
- group b This includes Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Oman.
- group c This includes England, West Indies, Scotland, Nepal and Italy.
- group d This includes South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
Each team will face the other teams in its group once, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super 8 stage. In particular, while the tournament is co-hosted, all Pakistan100 matches are scheduled for Sri Lanka, including the much-awaited clash against India in Colombo.
Key matches worth watching include the high-stakes clash between India and Pakistan on February 15. The semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 and 5, leading to the final on March 8, which will be held at the world’s largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, ensuring a grand finale to the month-long cricket festival.
