In the ongoing match between RCB and GT at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB spinner Suyyash Sharma dismissed GT captain Shubman Gill and mocked him by copying his celebration technique.
This season, RCB have been given strength by their bowlers and one such example was seen when Suyyash Sharma had the courage to make fun of a player of Shubman Gill’s caliber. RCB has always been known for its character, and this appears to have spread from Indian great Virat Kohli to everyone in the dressing room.
Suyyash Sharma made fun of Shubman Gill by imitating him.
Shubman Gill opened the innings with Sai Sudarshan, and with the left-hander taking most of the strikes, the Indian star decided to play the anchoring role with a slow-paced inning of 32 runs. However, he took care to clean the fence from time to time.
Shubman got a flighted ball from Suyyash Sharma and tried to drill it down the leg side, but holed out in the deep. When Gill got out, Suyyash made fun of him by imitating his celebration.
The spinner bowed and gave the sendoff to Gill. This departure was a replica of Shubman Gill’s trademark celebration, which has been seen several times in both GT and Indian colours.
Shubman Gill’s 128-run partnership for the first wicket with Sai Sudarshan gave a steady start to GT.
Will GT’s win today bring its points tally equal to RCB?
