He said that by looking at PM Modi on “front foot”, the players were inspired to play independently and enjoy the moment, and he was really happy that the whole nation was celebrating victory with him.

However, men were killed with controversy in Blue’s Asia Cup 2025 win. The Indian team refused to accept the trophy and medal of the winners from Mohsin Naqvi, head of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He is also the internal minister of Pakistan.

The Indian captain has refused to call the incident “controversy” and explained that the true victory is in the trust, support and hard work of the players, coaches and employees who contributed behind the scenes. However, the BCCI made it clear that they would take the issue to ACC and ICC.
Suryakumar signed, saying, “I won’t call it a controversy. If you have seen, people have posted pictures of the trophy here and there. But the real trophy is when you win the hearts of the people, players, the trust you earn, the support staff, the support staff, which they have shown, and the people who work behind the scenes are real trophies.

Jasprit Bumrah mocks Haris Rauf’s controversial gesture in the Asia Cup 2025 final
Meanwhile, after rejecting Pakistani Pesar Haris Rauf with an ideal toe-clock-yorker, Jasprit Bumrah mimicked the “aircraft crashed” gesture of Pakistani Pesar, which tasted his medicine to Pesar.
