Suryakumar Yadav land in trouble:

Soon after the game ended, the PCB filed an official complaint and was accepted by the ICC. The governing body of the game has initiated action against Yadav for its comments. The ICC has confirmed that it is reviewing a complaint filed by the PCB and this may lead to a formal hearing.

Hindi news outlet Danak Jacharan has reported that match referee Richie Richardson sent an email to the Indian team management in which he had admitted to receiving two official reports from PCB about Yadav’s comments.

In his email, Richardson has stated that on reviewing all the evidence and statements presented by the PCB, Suryakumar Yadav’s comments were considered to potentially damage the image of the game.

ICC to sit with Suryakumar and PCB officials

“ICC has asked me to handle two reports recorded by the Pakistan Cricket Board about the comments made by your captain, Suryakumar Yadav during the presentation and post -match press conference on 14 September 2025.

Email said, “After examining the entire report and reviewing the evidence, I concluded that a fee should be brought against Suryakumar Yadav for conduct that brings the game into controversy by giving unfair comments, which are harmful to the interest of the game,” Email reportedly said.

Suryakumar now has two options. He either accepts the charge or faces a formal hearing consisting of ICC match referee, a BCCI and a PCB representative and the captain of India themselves. If Suryakumar fails to justify his comments during the hearing, he can face restrictions according to the code of conduct.
