Indian national cricket team’s T-20 captain Suryakumar Yadav has finally spoken openly on the poor form of explosive opening batsman Abhishek Sharma.
Many cricket pundits had predicted that Abhishek Sharma would finish as the leading run-scorer in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, but he has made a terrible start to the tournament, registering a hat-trick of ducks.
“I am worried about those who are worried about Abhishek Sharma” – Suryakumar Yadav
Addressing the media ahead of the India national cricket team vs South Africa national cricket team match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, Suryakumar Yadav said that he is not at all worried about Abhishek Sharma’s current form. Suryakumar Yadav also gave a sharp warning to the opposition teams.
“I’m worried about the people who are worrying about Abhishek Sharma. I’m more worried about the teams who will face him later. He did everything last year, now it’s time for us to return the favour,” Suryakumar Yadav was quoted as saying by RevSportz.
