“I’m very happy for the team and wish them all the best. I know the boys are giving their all and they will always have my full support.” Suryakumar said in a statement shared on X.
He also directly addressed the statement that had gone viral on social media, and clarified that he neither issued nor approved any such message.
“I have also noticed that a statement has been circulating online which has been wrongly attributed to me. I wish to clarify that I have not made or authorized any such statement. Please do not believe or share unverified information. My support for Indian cricket, my teammates and the game will always speak louder than words falsely attributed to me.” He added.
