Suryakumar Yadav made fun of Pakistan in front of Oman players

India National Cricket Team captain Suryakumar Yadav won his heart with his sportsmanship after his team’s 21 -run win over Oman in the last group match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 in Abu Dhabi. Suryakumar Yadav took time after the match to encourage Omani players and tried in a close competition on Friday, 19 September.

The players of both the teams shared the smile and clicked on the pictures together, showing the true cameradari on the field. The gesture was contrary to India’s recent behavior towards Pakistan.

In the ongoing Asia Cup 2025, Suryakumar Yadav and India National Cricket Team deliberately avoided any gesture towards Pakistan, shaking a huge controversy.

Amidst the No-Handshek controversy, Suryakumar clearly focused only on his team and avoided fully discussed Pakistan during the post-match presentation after the Oman game. The Indian captain on Sunday refrained from taking the name of Pakistan ahead of his Super Four Clash.

Sanjay Manjrekar questioned in the post -match press conference, “All sets for Sunday match against Pakistan?” To which, Suryakumar replied, “Set for Super 4. All 4.”

Not only this, during his conversation with Oman players, Suryakumar made fun of Pakistan on camera to play cricket for the last few years.

Digging men in Green, Suryakumar inspired the young Oman team and encouraged them to be proud of their cricket culture.

The Indian captain praised Oman’s effort, attitude and style of playing, encouraging him to remember the level of cricket brought in the match and improve for future tournaments.

He also emphasized that the Omani team is ready for the ICC T20 World Cup qualifier 2026 and urged him to pursue the cricket spirit and brand in the match against India.

Suryakumar Yadav Oman Team says that they are ready for the World Cup qualifier

Suryakumar Yadav said in a video posted on his social media handle by BCCI, “You gave your best. Whether you win or lose, it will be decided by your attitude and culture. You guys gave your best. The result is right in front of you.”

As the reporter mentions that this team is getting ready for the World Cup qualifier, Suryakumar jumped quickly saying, “Sir, I want to correct you. This Oman Team ICC T20 World Cup qualifier is ready for 2026. They are ready.”

He signed this saying, “The taste of the brand of cricket that you played – remember the taste. When you wake up tomorrow, remember the brand of cricket you played. Remember it. Remember it. And keep moving forward. I am telling you; they are ready to play. They are going to play. I am telling you, be ready.”

Meanwhile, Oman captain Jatinder Singh also opened his players’ conversation with the Indian captain after the match.

Jatinder said, “Surya talked about the game and praised us, which means. Our boys had questions on how to play in different stages of T20 games. It was really good to chat with him.”
