Ahead of the start of the ICC T20 World Cup match between India and USA, Bollywood dance sensation Nora Fatehi performed at the opening ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India entered the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 as the defending champions of the tournament. After winning it in 2024, they were set to defend their title at their home World Cup and have been drawn in the same group as smaller teams Netherlands, Namibia, United States and their rivals Pakistan.
India started their campaign against the United States at the Wankhede Stadium and won the match with some excellent bowling from their bowlers. On the other hand, the games that follow will include their clash against Namibia on 12th February.

Amidst some great cricket action, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 witnessed a hilarious scene when Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was seen enjoying the performance of Bollywood item song sensation Nora Fatehi along with the rest of the Indian team.
Before the start of the first game for India, the opening ceremony included a performance by a Bollywood actress as well as famous Indian rapper Badshah. As he was enjoying the performance, his teammates Arshdeep Singh and Ishan Kishan were seen laughing out loud after seeing this.
A video of the incident went viral, in which the Indian cricketer can be seen giving a thumbs up and smiling, unlike his teammates who were laughing uncontrollably.

Indian players are gearing up for the World Cup with the second match against Namibia.
India has already played its first World Cup game in this edition and won well. Suryakumar Yadav stole the show by playing a stormy innings of 84 runs. The upcoming matches of the Indian team include the match against Namibia and then the most awaited contest of the World Cup.
India vs Pakistan will be hosted by Sri Lanka as a neutral venue; Hence, Suryakumar Yadav’s team will fly to Colombo for their third game on the 15th. Their final game is against the Dutch and is scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
