Gautam Gambhir backs Indian T20I captain amid lack of form
Gautam Gambhir has endorsed the Indian T20I captain’s ‘free-spirited’ off-field personality and said adopting this form of gameplay has given other youngsters in the team the freedom to play their own game.
On Monday, coach Gautam Gambhir supported the T20 captain. “To be honest, Surya’s batting form doesn’t worry me because we are committed to an ultra-aggressive template in our dressing room. When you adopt this philosophy, failures are inevitable,” he said during a discussion on JioHotstar.
