Suryakumar Yadav’s Dalip Trophy Snowb expressed doubts over his availability for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, as he is in the BCCI’s Center of Excellence for Fitness Assessment before the Continental Championship.
Suryakumar has been reported to undergo rehabilitation under the BCCI’s Center of Excellence in Bengaluru, which is 100% fit to undergo a continuous fitness assessment and to play India for India’s Asia Cup, where Suryakumar will first be seen captaining the Indian side in a multi-Tem tournament.
The cancellation of BCCI’s India vs Bangladesh White-Ball Tour gave Suryakumar some extra time before he fit to return to the field. After another small tenure in the T20 Mumbai League, his injuries were reported after the demand for IPL schedule.

Suryakumar Yadav is healing at BCCI Center of Excellence
According to Cricbuzz reports, Suryakumar is still recovering with sports hernia surgery, which he did after the end of the IPL and Mumbai T20 League.
However, the batsman confirmed that his surgery went smoothly and he would soon want to return anytime, through a post on his social media handle, there were concerns over his fitness ahead of the Continental Championship.
On 26 June, a social media post wrote, “Surgery for a sports hernia in the lower right stomach. It is grateful to share that after a smooth surgery, I am already on the road for recovery. Can’t wait to be back (SIC),” he wrote in a social media post on 26 June.
Suryakumar Yadav’s next major assignment with the Indian team comes in the Asia Cup, which will be played in the UAE and is to be played from 9 to 28 September. The dynamic batter is expected to lead the Indian side at the Continental Championship.
