Suryakumar Yadav controversy erupts after Khushi Mukherjee hits back and rejects Rs 100 crore defamation talk

The Suryakumar Yadav and Khushi Mukherjee controversy took a new turn when the actor and social media personality hit back at the India T20 captain and claimed to have filed a massive defamation case against him following his shocking revelations.

This episode has once again brought both Suryakumar Yadav and Khushi Mukherjee into the limelight. The controversy started when Khushi casually mentioned during a recent interview that Suryakumar used to message her a lot earlier.

Although the actress clearly stated that there was never any romantic relationship between them, her comments went viral on social media and sparked yet another controversy over Bollywood-cricket relationship.

Soon after, influential Faizan Ansari publicly claimed that a defamation case worth Rs 100 crore has been filed against Khushi over her recent statements.

Khushi Mukherjee breaks silence on Suryakumar Yadav controversy

Now Khushi has finally broken her silence on the matter related to the Indian cricketer. The actress has insisted that she has not defamed Suryakumar in any way. He simply said that they had talked before and there was nothing wrong in it.

Although Khushi admitted that she probably didn’t need to bring this up but made it clear that there was no ill intention behind her words.

Khushi Mukherjee was quoted as saying by Instant Bollywood, “No, not at all. It came out of my mouth that yes, there was talk; maybe it wasn’t supposed to happen. But we don’t think there was anything defamatory about it. (No, not at all. It came out of my mouth that we used to talk. Maybe we shouldn’t have. But I don’t think) Don’t think there was anything derogatory in it.”

The social media influencer also revealed that he has not received any legal notice yet. Without directly mentioning Faizan Ansari, he accused influencers of using status to gain fame and attention. The actress also criticized those who fueled the controversy.

Khushi added, “Rahi baat baaki aise kuch cheap se influencer sakte hain, alav mein haath secane aa gaye aur bhonkne lag gaye. (About such cheap influencers, they come to the bonfire to warm their hands and start barking.) Let them bark. So let them bark; that’s all I can say. But I haven’t received any defamation or legal notice.”

The actress, who has predominantly worked in the South film industry, clarified that she has no intention of dragging Suryakumar Yadav’s name into unnecessary drama. He believes that many people have used this situation to their advantage to gain headlines.

He concluded by saying, “I haven’t received any legal notice or anything like that. News channels often lack real subjects, so they blow small issues out of proportion and turn them into big controversies. I mean, we used to talk, okay, true. (It’s true that we used to talk.) But defamation? No, I haven’t received any defamation, and I don’t think I have defamed her in any way.”
