Fans criticize Suryakumar after another T20I flop show

It is true that if you look at batsman Suryakumar Yadav, he needs runs – Parthiv Patel

Speaking on Star Sports before the match, former wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel said that Suryakumar needs to make a comeback among the runs. He elaborated:

“It is true that if you look at the batsman Suryakumar Yadav, runs are needed. He got starts in Australia and we got some glimpses. We have seen some innings in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well, but those big runs have not come.”

“Talking about the leg-side, the flick is his favorite shot. He is quick to the length and is very sharp in his footwork. If we look at his scoring areas, 50 per cent of his bowling comes from the leg-side area.

“Most of the shots you hit in those areas are outside balls bowled into the stumps. That means you are taking a lot of risks. I think he should take some time off, and if that happens, we will see him scoring runs on the leg side again.”
