Suryakumar Yadav addresses rumors regarding his fitness amid IPL 2026
Suryakumar Yadav told that there is no injury on his wrist, hence these rumors and claims on social media platforms are false and baseless. The middle-order batsman tried to explain that if he really had a problem with his wrist, he would not be able to play those flick shots. Flicks are based entirely on hand-eye coordination. If he had a wrist injury, it would have been practically impossible for him to play the flick shot.

“First of all, I would like to clarify the situation a bit. People who are talking about wrist injury are either pure physios or people who do not understand cricket. Because if I actually had a wrist injury or any such problem, the shots I was playing in practice and matches, especially my flick shots, which are completely wrist-based and dependent on hand-eye coordination, I would not have been able to play those shots, Yadav said. Told the broadcasters before MI vs RR IPL 2026 match.
He further added, “But I don’t want to say much about it because it’s not under my control. These are all uncontrolled factors and I don’t pay much attention to them.”
