Indian national cricket team captain Suryakumar Yadav is known for his very calm personality on the field, but he lost his cool after a mistake by star all-rounder Shivam Dubey.
The incident occurred during the fourth T20 match of the five-match series between the India national cricket team and the Australia national cricket team at the Gold Coast Stadium (Carrara), Gold Coast.
Suryakumar Yadav made sharp attack on Shivam Dubey
Shivam Dubey is gradually gaining recognition as the ‘man with the golden arm’ and has developed the same wicket-taking ability as all-rounder Shardul Thakur.
He has improved a lot in his bowling and his usage as a bowler has increased significantly since Gautam Gambhir took charge of the Indian team.
The Gautam Gambhir-led team management has provided great support to Shivam Dubey and also given him a chance to open the bowling for India in the Asia Cup 2025.
Dubey has repeatedly repaid the team’s faith and he did so once again in the fourth T20I. He took big wickets of Mitchell Marsh and Tim David, but his small mistake angered Suryakumar Yadav.
On the last ball of the 12th over, he bowled a wide short ball to Marcus Stoinis which helped him hit a four. This made Suryakumar Yadav angry and he waved his arms in the air and uttered some words at Dubey.

I think that’s my favorite (batting) position whenever the team needs me
Axar Patel won the Player of the Match award for his all-round innings in the fourth T20 match against Australia and after winning the award he said that he is happy to bat wherever the team wants. He elaborated:
“I got the opportunity because I went to bat at No. 7, so I think I got a chance to know the wicket. When I spoke to the batsmen, they were saying that the ball was not coming on the wicket… there was unexpected bounce and the wicket was a little slow, so I held my ground and hit.
“I think whenever the team needs me that is my favorite (batting) position. If I make an impact for my team, I think that is the best game for me. I don’t think No. 6 or 7 is my favorite position. I just go there and think what my team needs now, I will do that.
“I was thinking it’s the strength of the batsmen, so I was bowling as per my plan. If the batsmen are going to hit me down the line, I can bowl to mid-stump. Good length, 5-6 meter length and then if things are slipping away from me, I will just bowl the odd fuller. So that’s my plan in these conditions, I think wicket to wicket is the most important thing.”
