Chennai Super Kings (CSK) veteran Suresh Raina has named his top three T20I batsmen of the current era, including South African wicketkeeper-botter Henrik Klassen. The former batsman also said that after the retirement of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma last year, two Indian batsmen played an important role in T20.
Raina, who made his debut for India against Sri Lanka in 2005, played 322 international matches, scoring 7,988 runs with seven centuries and 48 fifties. He was also one of the top batsmen in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Southpo scored 5,568 runs in 205 matches, including a century and 39 fifties.

Abhishek Sharma has scored 535 runs in 17 T20s at the strike rate of 193.84, including two centuries and two fifty. He has scored 1,816 runs in 77 IPL matches at a strike rate of 163.01, with a century and nine half -centuries. The left -handed batsman has recently claimed the top position in the ICC rankings for T20I batsmen.
Suryakumar Yadav has scored 2,598 runs in 83 T20s, including four centuries and 21 half -centuries. He has scored 4,311 runs from 166 IPL games at a strike rate of 148.65, including two centuries and 29 centuries. He currently plays only in T20I setup.
Heinrich Klassen, ₹ 23 crore from the IPL 2025 mega auction was ahead by Sunrisers Hyderabad, scored 1,414 runs in 39 innings in the last three sessions, including two centuries and seven fifty -fifty in strike rate of 173.50. Classen retired from all international formats earlier this year.
Suresh Raina is confident about the return of Prithvi Shaw in Team India and IPL
Suresh Raina expressed confidence in the Indian cricket team and the IPL in Prithvi Shaw. Raina said that Shaw is working to improve his fitness, saying that the young batsman has achieved very quickly in his career.

Raina also nominated Ishan Kishan as the lowest batsman in current cricket. Kishan has represented India in two trials, 27 Odis and 32 T20I with his final presence against Australia in Guwahati on 28 November 2023.
